  • When you hire us, you’re choosing a wonderful doula duo. You’ll select your primary doula, with the added assurance of a backup doula if needed. This means you’ll always have continuous support from one of our dedicated team members, either Kahla or Natalie—both fully committed to providing you with exceptional care throughout your birth journey.

  • A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a mother before, during, and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.

  • A doula provides non-medical support during childbirth, whereas a midwife is a healthcare professional who provides medical care. Midwives perform clinical tasks such as delivering babies and providing prenatal and postnatal care, while doulas focus on providing emotional, physical, and informational support.

  • Absolutely. We support all types of births, whether you plan to have a natural birth, an epidural, or cesarean delivery. A doula's role is to support your choices, advocate for you, and ensure you have a beloved birth experience.

  • We love to provide guidance and support to partners by helping them to be more involved in the birth process. You doula can offer suggestions for comfort measures, explain medical procedures, and ensure that partners also feel supported and included.

  • Coverage for doula services varies by insurance provider. We recommend contacting your insurance company to inquire about reimbursement for doula services. We can provide you with the necessary documentation to submit a claim. Natalie accepts Tricare, so if you're a Tricare beneficiary, you may have additional coverage options.
